Legal

Terms of use

These govern your use of this website and platform. The financing itself is governed by the agreement you sign with the lender and by your Key Fact Statement - where those and this page differ, they win.

This page is not yet finalised. It has not been through legal review, and it is not the financing agreement - that is a separate document you would sign with a lender.

1. What we are

BZi Growth is a technology and origination platform. We are not a lender, a bank, an NBFC or a factor. We do not lend money, we do not decide who gets credit, and we do not hold client funds. Every rupee comes from a partner bank or NBFC regulated by the Reserve Bank of India, and each of them makes their own credit decision.

2. What we actually do

  • Verify that an invoice is genuine, using government and bureau sources
  • Obtain your buyer’s confirmation that it is genuine and unpaid
  • Present the deal to financiers who hold a limit on you
  • Produce the Key Fact Statement and the transaction documents
  • Service the account and keep the records

3. What we do not promise

Stated plainly, because these are the ones that matter to you.

  • We do not promise you will be funded. Financiers decide, and may decline without giving a reason.
  • We do not promise a rate. Published rates are indicative. Your rate is the one on the quote you accept.
  • We do not promise your buyer will confirm or pay. If your buyer does not confirm, we cannot finance the invoice.
  • The calculator is not an offer of credit. It is arithmetic on the numbers you type in.

4. What you undertake

  • That the invoices you submit are genuine, delivered and unpaid, and that you have not financed them anywhere else. This is the one that matters - submitting the same invoice twice is fraud, not an administrative error, and we run a duplicate check on every submission.
  • That the documents and details you give us are true and current
  • That you tell us promptly if your buyer disputes an invoice or deducts from it
  • That you keep your login to yourself

5. Fees, and how the processing fee is set

Our fees are published on the pricing page and shown in full on your Key Fact Statement before you accept anything. If a charge does not appear in both places, you do not owe it. We charge your buyer nothing, ever.

Our processing fee is up to 0.5% of the invoice value. That is a ceiling and not a typical figure: the fee for any particular invoice is decided on the basis of the credit rating of your buyer - the company that owes the money - because that is what the financing is assessed against. A better-rated buyer costs less. The figure that applies to you is on your Key Fact Statement before you accept anything, and no fee is ever charged that was not shown there first.

The buyer must hold a current credit rating from a SEBI-registered credit rating agency. Financing is assessed on the buyer’s ability to pay, so this is what a lender prices against. Not every rating is accepted. Whether a particular credit rating or credit report is acted on is determined in accordance with our terms and conditions and our internal credit policy. Holding a rating is therefore not the same as that rating being acted on, and we will tell you if one cannot be - before you spend any effort on that buyer, not after.

6. Recourse

Whether you must repay the advance if your buyer never pays depends on which product you take, and it will be stated on your Key Fact Statement in those words. We have explained the difference here and we would rather you read it before you need it.

7. This demonstration environment

This deployment is a prototype. The organisations, invoices, users and money movements in it are simulated. No real lending takes place, no real funds move, and nothing here creates an obligation on anyone.

8. Liability

We are liable for our own failures in operating the platform. We are not liable for your buyer’s decisions, a financier’s credit decisions, or losses arising from information you gave us that was not correct. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Complaints and governing law

Complaints go through grievance redressal, which sets out the escalation path including the RBI Ombudsman. These terms are governed by Indian law, with courts at Thane, Maharashtra having jurisdiction.
