What if things go wrong?

Your buyer pays less than the full amount

This is called dilution - a short payment, a credit note, or a deduction. It comes out of the money held back until maturity, not out of the cash already in your account.

Your buyer raises a query on the invoice

Financing pauses while it is sorted out. If it is resolved in your favour, it carries on from where it stopped. Nothing is clawed back from you while the query is open.

Your buyer never pays

You have to repay the advance. The advance is secured against the invoice, so if the buyer defaults the financier comes back to you. That is the trade-off for getting the money on day one.
