What if things go wrong?

Your buyer pays less than the full amount

This is called dilution - a short payment, a credit note, or a deduction. You still pay back the full amount you borrowed.

Your buyer raises a query on the invoice

Financing pauses while it is sorted out. If it is resolved in your favour, it carries on from where it stopped. Nothing is clawed back from you while the query is open.

Your buyer never pays

You have to pay back what you borrowed. The advance is secured against the invoice, so if the buyer defaults the financier comes back to you. That is the trade-off for getting the money on day one.
